LITTLE SPROUTS
Explore, Learn, and Grow in Nature's Classroom
About the Class
Little Sprouts is a class is designed for toddlers (ages 1-3) and their guardians who are looking to explore the farm and forests of Bloomsbury at a more gentle pace. Silly songs, garden exploration, and puddle jumps abound!
Our goals are to expose our smallest friends to formative social, sensory, and tactile experiences. We hope to empower parents to explore nature and build community while learning alongside their little ones!

Choose your day, this will be the same for all 8 weeks of your session; Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday form 9-11am.

We ask other arrangements be made for older siblings to maintain our commitment to your investment within the age range 1-3. Feel free to email with any questions.
What to Expect
Our material will vary based on season and ability, but you can expect to get a little messy and create something new. We aim to meet your child where they are, helping them to grow in their development and understanding of the world around them through play, song, and experience.
You can expect to start the morning with a sensory experience for littles and a coffee bar for grown ups. We’ll spend some time together in song, guided movement, and conversation about what’s happening on the farm, followed by a creative project where parents and kiddos can work on together.

Info to come…

Follow this address to the farm:
Bloomsbury Farm 9398 Del Thomas Road, Smyrna TN 37167
After you go through the double white gates, stay to the right up the big hill. Take a right where the road makes a T at the red shed, and continue down the gravel drive past our schoolhouse and over the bridge. Keep left toward the big white warehouse and park in the grassy area just before it. Then walk toward the playground to find your Little Sprouts teacher!
-
Dress yourself and your little one in weather appropriate clothing and footwear- be ready to shed or add layers as we explore around the farm! Keep in mind that we may get wet, muddy, and messy while we craft and explore together. In other words… please anticipate a stain or two on clothing/shoes worn to Little Sprouts!
Some other items to bring along include a snack, water bottle, and a change of clothes for your little one (just in case!).
In the summer months, we recommend coming prepared with sunscreen, bug spray, and any other warm weather essentials you need to keep yourself and your kiddo cool. For winter, we’ll need to dress in layers and wear cold weather accessories like beanies, thick socks, and mittens!
-
If we need to cancel class due to weather conditions, you will be notified at least one hour before the start of class at the latest.
If weather conditions aren’t dangerous, we will be out here - rain or shine! Puddle jumping is the best!
